 Welcome to The ALAMO 26.2 MARATHON, THE ONLY Home Grown, Down Home, Spring Time Marathon in San Antonio.  That's right San Antonio has it's own Marathon BACK after 10 long years.
In 2018, Purpose Racing will be celebrating 7 Years Running.  It all began right here in San Antonio in with the innagural Alamo 13.1 in 2012.  Therefore this  year will also mark ALAMO 13.1 HALF’s 7th anniversary and to celebrate we are introducing ALAMO 26.2 MARATHON, San Antonio’s ONLY HOME GROWN, DOWN HOME Spring Time MARATHON!   Through the years, ALAMO 13.1 has been the leader in bringing you beautiful courses with historical landmarks along the route, simply THE BEST SWAG around and the most generous after race party! 

On March 4th, 2018, your day will start with a multiple musket volley at the ALL NEW H-Park (Hemisfair Park), home of the Tower of the Americas, we will then head down Alamo Street to the races namesake, The Alamo, after that you will experience, Dignowity Park & The Iconic Hays Street Bridge, Mission Concepcion, The King William District as you continue past some of San Antonio’s best cultural icons on your way back to The H-Park and an amazing post race party.  Join us in San Antonio in 2018 for our INAUGURAL YEAR OF ALAMO 26.2 MARATHON!
